Abstract

This study focuses on researching innovative educational practices to promote an inclusive and diverse classroom environment, with a particular focus on students with special needs. Located in the picturesque town of Boquete, in the mountainous region of Panama, this study involves an interdisciplinary team of researchers closely examining pedagogical strategies implemented in a primary school led by Mrs. Martinez. For several months, researchers have meticulously observed classroom interactions, recording the teaching strategies used and the outcomes achieved by students. Using content analysis as a research technique, they have delved into a rich range of experiences, opinions, and perceptions from both educators and students, aiming to identify emerging patterns and effective strategies for promoting inclusion and diversity in the educational setting. This study aims to enrich understanding of how to address special educational needs in an inclusive context, providing valuable insights for educators, school administrators, and policymakers interested in promoting equal opportunities and academic success for all students.
