Impact of tonsillectomy on susceptibility to upper respiratory tract infections

The report of clinical cases associated with two patients who frequently suffer throat infection, thus causing pharyngitis, tonsillitis and pharyngoamigdalitis, is presented. The clinical history is described and analyzed below, in order to discuss the possible impact of tonsil removal on the recurrence of upper respiratory tract disorders.
